5K-1st Grade
1:1 chromebooks are assigned to students in 5K - 4th grade. Chromebooks assigned to students in 5K- 4th grade will remain at school unless student checks out assigned chromebook for virtual learning .
5th-8th Grade
Whether to purchase or lease the chromebook is really a personal preference. ALL students will receive a brand new device regardless of choice to use for 5th -8th grade. Most who choose to purchase a chromebook like the idea that the device goes home with the student over the summers, and then when the student leaves LCS we factory reset the chromebook for the student to take with them. Leased devices are stored at school over the summer and returned to the student in September.
Please note that if you start out leasing a chromebook and change your mind, we can accommodate that choice and will only charge the difference for the device.
