My name is Kendi Bakken and I am delighted to be your child’s 4K teacher during this important year of social and emotional growth! I believe that 4K is the foundation of lifelong learning. My goal is to create a positive learning experience for each child!

My husband, Jeff and I have lived in Pewaukee since 2015. Jeff is the general music teacher at Lake Country School and I have been both an interventionist and 4K teacher at LCS. We have two boys, Jace and Teddy that both attend the Pewaukee School District. The last member of our family is our Australian cattle dog, Odie who loves cheese and likes to “herd” the boys around the yard! When not teaching, I love to watch movies with a bowl of popcorn, crocheting, golfing, and traveling with my family.

I love teaching 4K! I have taught this age group (in various settings) for many years.  I graduated from UW-Stevens Point  with an Early Childhood Ed degree and earned my Masters in Educational Technology through Marian University.
