Health Room Coordinator

Having worked as a registered nurse for over 14 years, I have a keen interest in helping others.  I am compassionate, caring, reliable and very hardworking.  I have experience in looking after the acutely unwell patient as well as managing and treating long term conditions, such as diabetes.

I have been working as a special education aide at Lake Country School and I have gained valuable knowledge and insight into the school`s philosophy and day to day running. Whilst working as a supervision paraprofessional in the Oconomowoc School District I was fortunate to be selected to become a Health Room Aide Substitute and completed face to face theory training as well of two days hands on clinical experience at the school. This training has given me great insight into how a school health room operates and the roles and responsibilities of a school nurse as well as making me aware of the policies and legislation that must be adhered too.

I believe that working as a school nurse at Lake Country School will allow me to achieve my goal of working in the 2 areas that I feel most passionate about, health care and education.
